Parents are invaluable in the eating disorder recovery process.

When a child or teen has an eating disorder, parents are a KEY member of the recovery team. I work with parents who are supporting a loved one through recovery through a Family Based Treatment (FBT) informed practice. Whether your child is a young teen or an older teen, parents have an important role to play in nutrition rehabilitation.

I support parents in implementing nutrition plans, how to manage meal times and strategies for moving through the process of nutrition rehabilitation.

It is important to act quickly if you suspect your child (young or old) may have an eating disorder. I invite you to reach out and book a discovery call to discuss your concerns. Head over to my page for Parents for more information.

Free Discovery Call

Not sure  how a dietitian can help you?

Not sure about the investment or what’s involved? Have body image or food concerns but not sure who to talk to?
Unsure about whether you should speak to someone about your food and exercise habits?

During this confidential chat you’ll be able to ask any questions you may have about working together, my approach or get more information on what a session would be like with me.

Discovery calls are usually 15-30min long and happen over the phone and come with no strings attached. You will not be given a sales pitch or special one time deal for booking immediately. The only goal is to make sure I would be a good fit for your needs.

I am able to work with people who live in Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, NWT and Nunavut. If you live in another Canadian province or outside of Canada, I’d be happy to help you find a dietitian who can support you.

It can be hard to know if nutrition support is right for you.

Here is a quick quiz that may help you decide if the support and guidance from an anti-diet dietitian could be a good addition to your wellness team. This questionnaire is called the Eating Disorders Screener for Primary Care.
